In this chapter Hugo leaves Sal's and is threatened by a nameless young punk. It quickly becomes clear that Hogwild has hired this kid to find out what Hugo is working on. I guess his interest was piqued on account of an article in the newspaper where Fedemma Global denied that they'd lost a paper and had no idea who Hugo was or why he was saying that. So maybe Hogwild is mad that Hugo is working on the d/l and wants to feel privvy to that information. Hugo's hungry and they agree to get something to eat, and they have to bring the kid. And Hugo will explain about the Fish House.
Does that explanation make sense? It was kind of a confusing chapter. And yet not much happened. That's probably the sign of a good author at work.
