OK this chapter made me a little uncomfortable. Allison decides that she's not going to go home, she's going to keep searching for Hugo. She didn't leave a note for the parents or anything, but it's like punishing them for kicking Hugo out. She gets the feeling that he's in the ocean, or something, so she goes down to the beach. She remembers the time that she almost drowned and Hugo saved her.
She goes and talks to a bunch of crusty pirate-types to try to find info if they've seen Hugo. They give her very bad sass of a sexual nature, and then she does something pornographic that I will not mention. Not sure why she does it. Then she leaves and finds some other guy to talk to.
